Well, so much for keeping it to Halloween. It has molded. There was no room in the fridge to keep it. Bai bai pumpkin.

So my dad brought home a pumpkin he won. It also came with a carving kit! Yay! So, I wasn't planning to carve a pumpkin, but since we have one I did! Using one of the patterns that came with the kit, this is what it ended up as:

Nothing like waking up to a 7.2 earthquake with an epicenter only about 100 miles or less away.

I'm ok. Apartment is ok. My stuff is all ok. I just chilled in bed while everything else rattled.

So this past weekend I went to Jay's concert in Tokyo. All I can say is that it was awesome!!! Superb!!! Jay is so cool and cute at the same time!!! <3 lol

His guests were Nan Quan Mama, an erhu player, and shamisen players. Nan Quan Mama also sang a few of their songs and often came out to rap, sing, or play an instrument with Jay.

He sang almost all the songs I wanted him to sing, except for Ju Hua Tai and Fa Ru Xue, but that's ok. He sang a whole bunch of other songs I wanted to hear live. <3 He also sang in Japanese, "Yuki no Hana," originally by Nakashima Mika. I think I prefer Jay's piano version of it. XD He also sang a little bit of Momotaro-san because his grandma taught him that song and both his mom and grandma were there watching the concert on Sunday. He also dedicated a few songs to his parental units and that was very cute. And he was uber cute dancing to "Busy Cowboy." lol

There so many costume changes, I lost count. lol And he played a bunch of instruments! He played the piano, drums, and shamisen! That was pretty cool. Alas, he didn't play the gu zhen. T_T But he was awesome playing the piano. He can just play the piano and I will be happy. <3 lol I forgot to add! Jay beat-boxed a little!! <3

A Japanese friend took us to the pier and armed with flashlights and a net, we caught 32 crabs!

Whee!! They aren't too big, but they were yummy!!

Whee! I got a new phone! lol

Helping the newbies get settled in and shopping for cell phones, I found that I would save money by getting a new contract with all the new campaign stuff going on. lol So I did.

It's an awesome phone! I get to watch TV on one seg! How fun! No more missing shows. lol

I passed my driver's test!! It was so nerve wrecking! The person before me failed. I feel kinda bad, cuz it was her 2nd time taking it. Ouch...

And the proctor was like debating too.. whether to pass me or not. I'm so glad he did. Phew!

So it really snowed here a couple of days ago! The entire place was white!!! o.o I'm used to seeing things brown... not white!! XD But anyways, so I also went to play in the snow during school. LOL I dragged another teacher with me to play cuz its been more than 10 years probably since i last played in snow. XD Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure!
